We're trying to scale down our tendency to have fun at Chucky's expense, so we'll only tell you about one of Chucky's misfortunes:

Chucky waited impatiently for several months for his new quad shark to arrive. When it finally did, he had to stare at it every day while at work for weeks as he saved to pay it off.

The day finally came that Chucky was able to afford his new board, and it just so happened that there were waves at Lowers. It seemed Chucky's luck was finally changing.

AND THEN TRAGEDY STRUCK!

While crossing the train tracks, Chucky heard a train coming. It was loud; it was fast; it was angry. Actually, it didn't exist. The imaginary train caused Chucky to attempt a sprint across the tracks, which didn't work out too well. Chucky slipped and fell, putting a huge ding in his new board. Being the good teamrider he is, Chucky had back-up stickers in his backpack, so he slapped a few over the newly acquired ding and paddled out.

In telling his story to the entire Lowers line-up, Chucky attributed his fear of the imaginary train to a low flying plane. To his dismay, the entire line-up turned against Chucky, saying that there was no low flying plane. And they should know, being the die-hard Lowers guys they are, they were no doubt in the water for long enough to notice any low flying planes.

Chucky now has a brand-new, ding-free Whiplash, bought himself a car, and is reaping the benefits of a more clean-living lifestyle. Check out just how happy the new and improved Chucky is in this clip.
