10 MINUTE CLIP OF GORKIN, WARD, SLEIGH, AND CORY RIDING PLACEBOS Placebos are made with Flexlite surfboard technology, which is a composite molding process specifically designed for surfboards. Composite boards originated with windsurfboards; Flexlite took into consideration their years of trial and error with the technology, while tweaking it to create the flex needed for performance surfboards to, well, perform.
Flexlite consists of an EPS foam core with a high-density PVC sheet foam wrap for durability. For proper flex, the PVC tapers as it extends to the rails.
