Who - The Mindcraft is for surfers seeking a high-performance, minimalist board. When - The Mindcraft performs best in waves from 2–6 feet. It excels in punchy, energy-packed waves but is also highly capable in smaller surf. With well-distributed volume and ample planing surface, surfers can ride it several inches shorter than their standard shortboard without sacrificing performance.
What - The Mindcraft is a minimalist design by Daniel Thomson in collaboration with Kelly Slater. Its outline blends straightened and elliptical curves with a torpedo nose and bump-wing round tail for balance, control, and tight turns at speed. Bottom contours are smooth and continuous with a single-to-double concave for engagement and lively response. The board delivers exceptional speed, precision, and responsiveness while remaining versatile enough to handle both Quad and Thruster configurations.
