Like all melin HYDRO hats it uses a hydrophobic coating on the crown panels that beads water away and resists absorption, so the hat stays light and dries fast after a dunk, a paddle-out, or a downpour. A Cloud Visor Core (thin resin core paired with ultra-light foam) keeps the brim flexible and light while holding its shape, and a gel-welded undervisor seal gives a clean, durable finish.

Inside, a moisture-wicking lining and a hidden besom pocket round out the build. Coated HYDRO droplets on the rear panels vent heat for a medium-high breathability rating.
