It’s ideal for surfers who want a refined shortboard for quality home breaks or travel destinations, where precision, responsiveness, and speed really matter.

What - Shaped by Dan Mann under the Mannkine label, the Dominator Pro is a high‑performance evolution of the original Dominator. Built in Firewire’s lightweight Helium Technology with a stringerless EPS core, Paulownia/balsa rails, and eco‑friendly bio‑resin, it blends speed, control, and environmental consciousness. Its design features a slightly increased rocker, a single concave underfoot transitioning to a double‑barrel concave near the fins, and a vee out the tail for fluid, powerful surfing. Ride it as a thruster or quad—Dan Mann prefers quads—with the Firewire Velox Fin Set for maximum drive and versatility.

When - This board excels in chest‑high to overhead surf, thriving in punchy, more critical conditions where tight pocket turns and rail‑to‑rail transitions shine. While it can handle thigh‑high days, it truly comes alive when the waves have shape and push, making it a versatile choice across a range of surf but with its sweet spot in faster, cleaner conditions.
