Channel Islands Dumpster Diver 2 - Dane Reynolds took the original Dumpster Diver, one of CI's best-loved small-wave shortboards, stretched it out a couple of inches and gave it a modern nose. The result is a board that keeps the DD's speed and fun in average surf but has the range to handle better waves too.

• Outline: wider nose and tail than the original for more planing area and easy paddling
• Rocker: a touch more nose and tail lift, so it fits steeper sections without losing its relaxed, fast feel
• Bottom: a softer single concave for quick, smooth rail-to-rail transitions
• Tail: squash, set up as a thruster
• Construction: PU/polyester

Sizing tip: CI suggests riding it about an inch shorter than your Happy Everyday.
