Who - The Round Up is ideal for the average surfer to seasoned veteran.
When - The Round Up is made for good waves but works well enough in average surf as well.
What - The Round Up was made from the feedback on the Rock Up. Many surfers liked the Rock Up but felt it was a little too “gunny”, thus the guys at Lost went to work. They kept the same rocker, and bottom contours, but the pin tail has been softened and widened into a fuller rounded pin. They also thickened the rails a bit thus adding volume and yielding a more everyday shortboard feel to them. These changes allow the Round Up to still excel in large critical surf, but it increases the board’s forgiveness and usability. It is still a step up model but these changes definitely help it excel in lesser waves too. An awesome model to have in the quiver for when the forecast is looking good!
