What is Carbon Wrap construction?
Carbon Wrap is a patented surfboard technology, structurally engineered for optimum flex and performance, originally created by Gold Coast surfboard manufacturer Dan MacDonald to be lightweight without sacrificing strength. It eliminates the wooden stringer: an ultra-light EPS core is wrapped in an exoskeleton of strategically positioned carbon fiber bands that align at the nose, curve outward toward the rails, and wrap from the bottom around the rails onto the deck, creating and controlling a unique torsional flex.
How does Carbon Wrap feel compared with a PU (poly) board?
Lighter and livelier. With no wooden stringer, the flex comes from the carbon bands: the curve of the bands creates a torsional flex that livens up as it nears the tail, just in front of the fins, and loads and releases for what …Lost called next-level speed and drive. On the deck, the carbon along the rails acts as a rear-foot power point for drive and control, and the carbon inlay under your stance adds a fast re-flex memory, so the board feels quicker to respond than a PU/polyester board.
What is the X-Glass on a Carbon Wrap board?

Is Carbon Wrap durable?
