When - The Beach Buggy is made to excel in good to great surf. Ideally waves in the chest to overhead range.
What - The Beach Buggy is a high performance shortboard which compliments the Taj Whiplash. When compared to the Taj Whiplash, the Beach Buggy has a more full nose and body, with an increase in volume extending from the centerline out towards the rails. The overall rocker profile has been relaxed and one can expect to ride the Beach Buggy 1-2” shorter than the Taj Whiplash. These changes increase the board’s stability, its ability to carry momentum and speed down the line with more lift in lesser wave conditions. However, this model is still a high performing model which can be precisely controlled in a large variety of surf.
